WOW the craziness...

Well I do realize it has been WAY too long since I have updated the blog, but I have really good reasons! Cameron's babysitter got pregnant and quit on us. After several days of angry crying we began to ask around and search for another option. He is now going to "school" right across the street from our work. I never wanted daycare for my child, but he had adjusted well and seems to enjoy it. He has become MUCH more independent and is all over the place. He is also even more social than we was before (if you can believe that!) and really loves people-watching. He has fought and struggled with continued ear/sinus infections since my last post. The poor child has been through all sorts of mediciation and it finally ended (we hope) today. Cameron had surgery this morning and got tubes put in his ears. It was very scary, but Cameron was a big boy! He didn't cry when they took him back, and although he was screaming when they brought him back a bottle was a quick cure. The other babies that were older than him cried much longer. He has been funny all day. He does not understand that he should be taking it easy and wants to be down crawling and trying to walk. Yes, I said trying to walk. It is amazing. He will crawl up on you, pull up, and can stand for about 8-10 seconds without help. He often forgets he isn't holding on to anything and will try to take a few steps and sometimes he get 2 in before he crashes. He has grown up so fast. It blows my mind that he is doing all these new things.
I skipped right over Christmas. It was so much fun. He got SO many presents (because he had been such a good boy!) and had a good time unwrapping them. He especially enjoyed the bags because he had fun with the tissue paper. He was still sick then with his ear and sinus fun, so he didn't feel 100% but he tried hard to be a happy baby. He is so much fun, even as sick as he has been. He has such a great friendly personality. I can't wait to see the person he is going to become. He has definitely enriched our lives more than we could have ever imagined. That is all for now. I really hope to get better at this blogging thing. I just have a hard time pulling myself away from playing with the little man.
